The platform collects and retains information on every users who speaks to your chatbot.
You can view, export, and delete this data from the platform.
Export chat transcripts
A chat transcript is a JSON file that:
Is tied to a unique chatbot user.
Contains timestamped actions taken by the user (e.g. message sent, button clicked, etc.).
Contains timestamped answers from the chatbot.
Contains timestamped answers from live chat agents.
The chat transcript is a single file that contains all the data the platform has collected on this user.
To export user data, go to Chats → Conversations.
In the table, each row represents one user. You can use the
View button to view the chat transcript and data collected inside the platform.
When you have found the user you would like to export, click
You will be asked to confirm your action. The export will be sent to the email address associated with your platform account.
Delete user data
To delete user data, go to Chats → Conversations.
In the table, find the user you would like to remove and click
Deleting a chat transcript deletes all data associated with the user.
