Enable the block list to filter profanities

Your chatbot's block list is a large master list of inappropriate words. When enabled, your chatbot will ignore or not respond to any message received that includes one of these inappropriate words.

Enabling and disabling the Block List

To turn the block list off or on, navigate to Settings → Block List.

There are three available settings.

• Ignore: your chatbot will ignore and not respond to any message containing explicit language.

• Function as normal: your chatbot will attempt to understand and answer any messages, including those will explicit language.

• Redact: your chatbot will function as normal, but explicit messages will be redacted inside the platform. Platform users will not be subjected to the explicit messages within areas such as the logs or the conversation transcripts.
